Dear friends,

Greetings from Soroti and with special regards from the Students, Staff and College administration.

The second phase of learning circle (introduction) came to an end on Sunday 11/04/2009. It was great time and took a lot of hard work to get it done.

The participating students have worked cooperatively and much more willingly in this phase and hope they can even do much better than they did it.

The introduction phase I can say had a lot of challenges among which include:

• Power load shedding
• Unbalance ratio of students to computer
• Internet being off though it has improved of late
• Low computer memory which in turn affects the speed of internet

The above made it very difficult to move through the introduction phase but at least the students with the ICT Technical Assistant and the tutors made it a fair success achieved.

I realized that the time has not been in favor of the teachers because of other commitments in the college. They apologize for not being able to fully introduce themselves and promise the will be posting their introductions as soon as possible

However, all went on according to the schedule.
