Dear friends,
We hope all is well and we welcome you, according to the timeline to the 2nd week of summarising your answers received
(Only 4 answers missing......)
This 2-week phase is meant for organizing, summarizing and reflecting on the information received.
The students write a summary and create a publication which is based upon the summary and which shows a higher level of in-depth analysis of the result.
This Publication can be also a digital presentation of their choice (a website, a PowerPoint-presentation, an audio-video-presentation).
In the overview below, created by Ria yesterday, we did not yet take in account the start of UG2’s summary of this morning
This process requires you as students to develop strategies for examining and summarizing the received information.
It is not informative enough to just cut, past and list all the responses; A narrative summary of the responses is far more effective.
To compare the responses from all classes will help you to understand the relationships between the answers given.
A general format for reviewing the responses might be to address the following questions:
1. Why did we ask the question?
2. What did we know about the theme when we started?
3. What did we learn in our classroom?
4. What did we expect to learn?
5. What did we learn from the responses of the students?
6. What were the differences in the different countries?
7. Why do we think these differences exist?
8. What are the consequences of the differences for a country?
We’re looking forward reading your summaries in the wiki!!
The next LC-news will be posted on Sunday June 21st....
