Hello everybody!

We're Annemarije en Rianne from the Netherlands, we live in a little place called: leeuwarden.

It's about 150 kilometres from Amsterdam, maybe you heared from it?

We are students on the education to become teacher on primary schools. We are a team in this learning circle but also in real live.

We are best friends since we were on primary school ourselves. Now we live together in an appartment and we enjoy living together.

Our parents live nearby. We shall first introduce ourselves and the introduce the way of teaching here in Holland.

I'm Annemarije Feenstra and I have such sweet parents. My dad his name is Syward and my mom her name is Willemien. They live a couple of meters from my house that i share with Rianne. I visit them a couple of times in the week. My little brother also lives with my parents, he's not very little, he's a tall boy but still my little brother. My sister lives in Groningen, that's about 50 kilometres from leeuwarden, the town where I live. We are a very close family and we love to do things together. We are Christians, and go to the church. We share it as a family and that's precious to me. I also have a boyfriend, i have a relationship for more then a year now! He lives a street away. I love to do nice things with friends, or family.

I'm Rianne Bruinsma and i'm 21 years old. My parents are also very lovely. My father's name is Haaije, and my mother is called Annie. My little brother lives with them and he is very good at playing the guitar. My big brother lives in Sweden, with his girlfriend, he met her by internet. You hear that a lot here, that a boy and a girl meet eachother by the internet. I have a very sweet boyfriend, for almost two years now. He's really important to me! I love to go on holiday, to see and experience other cultures and other landscapes. I also love to do nice things with friends of family and i love to read!

We're standing in front of the class, and there are about 20 or at most 33 children in our classes. They go to school from monday till friday and then they have two days weekend. Every morning they start at 08.30 in the morning. At 12.00 they go home to eat some bread. At 13.15 they come back to school and they continue till 15.15. We have all kinds of lessons. Like maths, geography, history, writing, dutch language, in the higher classes also englisch language. But we are also teaching the children to play and listen to music, to sing, we teach them to do drama activities and all those kind of things! We are trying to get the best of each child. We hope to give the child a safe base, a good environment so the child can develop itself at his or her best!
