I think that a all round teacher is a teacher who is very good in many things!
I think it is very important that a teacher really wants to suppert the children in there development. To suppert the children in there development i think it is very importent to really listen to the children en ensure that in your classroom is a very good atmosphere! Also use different ways of working voor the children. Children can learn a lot from each other!
I would like to see some more lessons about music, arts, dancing et cetera.
And last but not least; a teacher has to be very good in observe!

When are you all round? What’s the definition?
Everybody has different skills and you can’t be all round by yourself, you need a team to have all the good qualities.
We do think a teacher needs to improve some skills to become a good teacher:
- He has to be flexible with different situations in a classroom.
- He has to focus on the children.
- He has to know what goes on in the children (observe).
- He has to form his own way of teaching so that he feels comfortable in the classroom and pass this over to the children.

Teachers are different in different things. Some teachers are better with younger children, some teachers are better with older children. Other teachers are better in calculate and other teachers are better in language. But dependent on this, we think that all the teachers has his own way to rule the class. All round teachers are flexible and will learn more of the modern world. Teachers shouldn’t hang in their own, older, world. The education is for the children, so the education has to be the look of the world from the children. Teachers use different ways of working, like: children are working together, independent or classical.
We notice that too in our training, the education has to be add on the experience of the children. That all is a big challenge for the teachers because they have to find out what ‘the world of the children’ exactly is and how they can change their education on that world. When teachers are able to this all, we think that they are a good all rounder.

I think an all round teacher is a teacher with good morals,charaters,social, accepted in the soceity, flixible in all circumstances and a teacher who is able to work in all parts of country with the intention of supporting the children form their weaknesses, in order for them to have a good future since children are said to be the future leaders.
The challenges that a teacher may encounter after training course are quite many one of them is lack of employment. In Uganda today there are many trained teachers who are staying at home without work as a result of lack of employment opportunities, however the government is trying to fight on that through allowing privatization where by some people with enough money are allowed to open private schools.
And also another problem is that some primary schools do not have enough text books for teaching, where a trained teacher has got a challenge when time for teaching comes, since many information are got from those text books.

Lack of scholastic materials may make a teacher lazy in preparing his work.

there are many challenges that teachers encounter after training,some of which are as bellow:-
Competition with other teachers.i.e.there are many qualified teachers out there who are searching for the same job and some end up without being employed.
Corruption. Some schoolheads tend to embezle funds that are to be used for paying teachers hence aproblem to them.
Delayed payments by the government.The government tends to delay payments of salaries thereby aproblem to the teachers on the side of providing basic needs for their children.
Luck of enough text books for teaching.Teachers tend to face a problem during their preperations of making the content for their learners,hence making them to produce shallow contents for the learners.This can easily lead to ateacher lossing his/her job.hence a problem to the teachers family.
Technologycal changes.i.e some teachers luck the skills of using technology like the use of computers.So those ones tend to remain without jobs hence aproblem to them.
Poor class control due to large classes.There are some schools with large classes which tend to be
aproblem to many teachers mostly those ones who are still new in the proffession.
Low payments.Some teachers tend to be low paid in the kind of schools they are empolyed in.e.g.in most newly opend private schools.
Political instability.This also tends to scare teachers from going to some schools where they have been posted by the government,there by making them remain jobless.
